Standard Features

In all but the Turbo trim, the 2021 Kia Soul comes with a standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque with front-wheel drive with an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 28/33 MPG. Each trim level has a 60/40 folding rear seat and 101 cubic feet of passenger room. The Soul comes with six airbags, electronic stability control, and a tire-pressure monitoring system for safety on the road.

The 2021 Kia Soul has several notable standard infotainment and connectivity features. They all come with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ Smartphone Integration, along with Bluetooth^® Wireless Technology, and a Rear-Camera Display.

LX and S Trim

The Soul’s base trim level is the LX, which comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but drivers can choose to equip their Soul with an automatic IVT transmission. The base model also comes standard with a 7” color touch-screen. On the outside, the LX has 16” steel wheels with covers, and on the inside, the vehicle has woven cloth seats.

The S trim delivers more standard features, most notably the standard automatic transmission and upgraded 16” alloy wheels. The safety features get upgraded to include Auto Emergency Braking & Warning Technology, Lane-Keeping Technology, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Avoidance Technology, and Driver-Attention Warning.

On the inside, the S trim includes power-adjustable front seats, premium tricot cloth seats, remote keyless entry, and conventional cruise control.

X-Line & EX

The X-Line and EX models get even more upgrades. The X-Line delivers a rugged exterior design with an exclusive body kit, a black grille, and 18” alloy wheels. This trim level is the only one that offers the unique Undercover Green paint color. On the inside, the X-Line has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob.

The EX model has a few more notable standard features like the 17” alloy wheels and a power sunroof. This model year trim level includes a standard 10.25” color touch-screen with Kia’s UVO link with Premium Navigation, SiriusXM^® Satellite Radio and HD Radio^™. It also has a Smart Key with Push-Button Start/Stop and Immobilizer. The heated front seats have 10-way power adjustability.

GT-Line & Turbo

The sportiest models are the GT-Line and Turbo. On the outside, both have the GT-Line exclusive 18” alloy wheels and the power sunroof with manual shade. The Turbo features LED headlights and taillights. On the inside, the GT-Line has tech, comfort, and safety features like the S. The GT-Line and Turbo both have a unique GT-Line exclusive exterior appearance, too.

The Turbo is the only Soul that features the 1.6L DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This engine has 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. This is the only trim level that offers Smart Cruise Control, too.
